Things I learned at RT 2014

Things I learned at RT 2014

1. Author Julie Kenner (Wanted, The Stark Trilogy) is even more amazing and generous in person than she is via email.

2. The Grand Central crew knows how to have a serious good time – and you know who you are.

3.  Debut author Sofia Tate has a show-stopping book cover.

4. If you ever meet author Valerie Bowman (The Unexpected Duchess), ask her what really happened on Say Yes To the Dress.

5. Season Vining (Beautiful Addictions) is my new neighbor (sort of) in NYC.

6. I actually do like soft shell crabs. But maybe only when travelling.

Off to New Orleans — RT Convention is Here!

The annual Romantic Times convention takes place this week in New Orleans. On Friday, May 16, I’ll be moderating a panel discussion on erotic e-serials with Megan Hart, Beth Kery, Ruthie Knox, and Tracy Wolff. Hope to see you there!

Coming Back for More: Writing an Erotic E-Serial

Dickens did it. Henry James did it. Even Harriet Beecher Stowe did it! From Madame Bovary to Anna Karenina, some of the most legendary novels first appeared in serial form. Today’s romance writers are reviving the time-honored tradition of serialized fiction, using the flexibility of e-books to tell their stories. In this workshop, bestselling erotica authors will guide writers through the craft of writing sexy, irrisistible e-book serials that hook readers from the start and keep them coming back for more.

Event Date:

Friday, May 16, 2014 - 2:45pm to 3:45pm
